Setup Guide (Windows 95/98/Me)
- Open My Computer, then select Dial-UP Network (Windows 98).
Click Start -> Settings -> Dial-up Networking (Windows Me).
- Select Make New Connection. In the Type name of computer You are dialing field, enter bitsyu, then click Next.
- In the Telephone number field, enter 011 30 30 999, then click Next.
- Click Finish to exit setup.
- While in the Dial-Up Networking window, right-click the new connection and select Properties from the menu.
- Select the General tab in the window, then deselect Use area code and Dialing properties.
- Click the Server Types tab. Under Type of Dial-Up server, select PPP: Internet, Windows NT Server, Windows 98.
Under Allowed network protocols, deselect NetBEUI i IPX/SPX Compatible. Click the TCP/IP Settings button to check if the options Server assigned IP address, Server assigned name server addressess, Use IP header compression, and Use default gateway on remote network are selected. Click OK.
- Click OK and close the Properties window.
